My Story
I stand for the intertwining beauty of colour, makeup, clothing, and the divine grace of God.
My passion lies in the vibrant spectrum of hues that paint the world around us, each shade telling a unique story and evoking a different emotion. I believe that colour can uplift spirits, spark creativity, and express individuality in ways that words cannot.
Clothing and makeup, to me, is a form of self-expression, a canvas on which we can paint our personalities and showcase our inner beauty to the world. From bold patterns to subtle textures, every piece I choose reflects my mood, my aspirations, and the story I wish to tell.
I am a mother to two beautiful daughters and a devoted wife to my husband. In my free time, I enjoy creating oil paintings, exploring the world and indulge in reading. My journey began as a BSc student at Northwest University. During those years, my passion for clothing and makeup grew. After eight years, I felt compelled to leave the computer science world and pursue my true calling. I embarked on a journey to fulfil my dream, studying Image Consulting under the esteemed guidance of Chata Romano. Following that, I pursued Makeup Artistry at JB Makeup, where I found myself captivated by the artistry of brushes and palettes. My creative spirit yearned for more, leading me to obtain my ITEC International makeup qualification, alongside a makeup certificate from the London School of Makeup. I became co-owner of JB Makeup Since then, I've had the privilege of contributing to Finesse magazine, where I've lent my expertise in makeup, hair, and styling to their publications. In addition to my published articles, my journey has also taken me to different tv sets, productions and speaking at corporate events. I am also honoured to have been part of weddings, makeup workshops and teaching fellow makeup artist.
What truly distinguishes me is my commitment to personalized service and attention to detail. I take the time to understand my clients' individual needs, preferences, and lifestyle, ensuring that every makeup application and styling session is tailored to their unique requirements. From selecting the perfect foundation shade to curating a wardrobe that reflects their personal style, I go above and beyond to exceed my clients' expectations.
My true joy comes from using my passion for colour and clothing to make others feel beautiful from the inside out. There's something magical about the transformation that occurs when someone sees themselves in a new light, when they discover their own unique brand of beauty and radiate confidence from within.
Whether it's through the art of makeup, the selection of the perfect outfit, or simply a kind word and a listening ear, I am dedicated to uplifting and empowering those around me. I believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and worthy of love, and I am committed to helping them see that beauty in themselves.
